Jaunts is a travel itinerary planning service operated at jaunts.io. We are the data controller for the personal information we collect. This summary covers the key points; the full policy is available within the app.

What we collect and why

We collect your account details (email, display name, securely hashed password), the trip and booking data you add, and optional data such as a WhatsApp number, home location, and cost information. We use this solely to provide the Jaunts service. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we never send marketing emails.

AI and email processing

When you paste or forward booking confirmations, or send them via WhatsApp, the content is sent to a third-party AI service (OpenAI) to extract structured booking details. Raw forwarded emails are automatically deleted within 24 hours.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, or delete your data, and withdraw consent for optional features at any time from Account Settings. For privacy questions, contact us at hey@jaunts.io.
